Tom Gonsiewski, Director of Operations
Oversees STARS Operations to ensure all operations run smoothly. Leads the STARS’ operations committee in helping develop and implement policies and procedures relating to how rides are booked and managed.

Karen Thrower, Dispatcher Manager
Recruits, trains, and schedules dispatchers. Manages dispatcher guidance and compliance to ensure volunteer drivers and their passengers are supported. Primary contact for all Dispatchers.

John Finley, Driver Manager
Manages volunteer driver program. Guides driver training and recruitment, maintains volunteer records. Develops and implements guidance for driver vetting, passenger waivers, health protocols and other issues affecting driver safety.

Ann Marland, Passenger Relations Manager
Responsible for passenger outreach helping STARS stay connected to passenger needs. Communicates with passengers and keeps other team managers informed as needed.

Lauren Beyerinck, Permissions
Oversees drivers license and insurance expiration ensuring drivers’ records remain valid. Monitors volunteer applications, welcomes prospective volunteers when applications received.

Software Programs
Oversees online ride scheduling software and trains drivers how to use it. The primary contact for technical issues relating to booking, confirming, and managing rides in the ride booking software.

Peggy Tehan, Bookkeeper
Supports STARS Operations and Board by keeping records of all financial transactions and generating financial information needed for effective management and compliance with IRS requirements.
