STARS awarded generous Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation Grant

Our heart felt thanks goes out to the Cow Creek Umpqua Indian Foundation for their generous grant. The tribal foundation awarded STARS $7500 for mileage reimbursement for our volunteer drivers. It is because of grants and gifts like this that Sisters Transportation and Ride Share can continue to grow our service offering free rides to non-emergency medical appointments for Sisters Country residents who cannot drive themselves. If you need help, we are here for you. It’s easy to use our FREE service of rides to appointments in Sisters, Redmond and Bend. Give us a call, at 541-904-5545, at least 48 hours in advance, on any Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. Our friendly dispatchers will get the information we need about your appointment and help to set up your ride with one of our competent drivers. And you will be on your way! Rides are offered to appointments Mondays thru Fridays.

If you would like to volunteer a little or a lot, we would appreciate your help. STARS reimburses our drivers for their mileage. As a STARS volunteer you can choose to work as much or as little as you want. You always make your own schedule.
